Week 1 - The Foundation: Spiritual Authority Begins with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:1-11)

Focus: You cannot operate in spiritual authority until you receive the Spirit's power and understand divine assignment.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • "Wait for the promise..." - Authority begins with waiting, not working.

  • "You will receive power..." - Authority is empowered, not assumed.

  • The Spirit is the source of boldness, clarity, and calling.

Outcome: Participants understand that true spiritual authority flows from a

Spirit-empowered identity.


Week 2 - The Coming of the Spirit: Power, Boldness & Divine Direction (Acts 2:1-21)

Focus: What happens when the Spirit fills the believer.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • "The Spirit breaks barriers.

  • Authority flows out of Spirit-filled speech.

  • The Spirit interprets the moment.

Outcome: Believers learn spiritual authority through Spirit-inspired utterance, courage, and discernment.

Week 3 - Authority to Heal: Signs, Wonders, and Spiritual Power (Acts 2:22-47)

Focus: Authority to speak and shepherd.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Spirit-given revelation

  • The Spirit convicts - not manipulation.

  • Authority creates community and transformation.

Outcome: Believers see that true authority produces transformation, community, generosity, and devotion.

Week 4 - Authority to Heal: Signs, Wonders, and Spiritual Power (Acts 3:1-16)

Focus: How spiritual authority functions in ministry.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Authority is spiritual, not material.

  • Boldness to act.

  • Healing points back to Jesus.

Outcome: Spiritual authority beings restoration and glory to God.

Week 5 - Authority Under Pressure: Faithfulness in Opposition (Acts 4:1-22)

Focus: Authority tested by trials.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Boldness under threat.

  • Spirit-given courage.

Outcome: Believers remain steadfast when challenged.

Week 6 - Authority in Prayer: Power that Shakes the House (Acts 4:23-37)

Focus: Prayer as the engine of authority.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Prayer ignites power.

  • Renewed boldness.

  • Unity and generosity.

Outcome: Participants learn prayer as God's empowerment strategy.

Week 7 - Authority Over Darkness: Discernment, Integrity & Deliverance (Acts 5:1-16)

Focus: Authority that confronts deception.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Discernment.

  • Holiness and integrity.

Outcome: Spiritual authority protects and purifies the community.

Week 8 - Authority to Advance: Moving the Mission Forward (Acts 6:1-15; 8:1-8)

Focus: Authority expands the mission.

                                        

Key Themes:

  • Raising new leaders.

  • Wisdom and Spirit together.

  • Persecution pushes mission forward.

Outcome: Authority multiplies, advances, and influences the world.
