MissionThe mission of the Outreach Ministry at Genesis Baptist Church is to promote evangelism of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the community surrounding the church. We are committed to using our gifts, talents, and resources that are available to guide, train, and involve the Genesis Baptist Church congregation in evangelical ministry.

Prison: Teresa WalkerTo provide spiritual guidance and christian love to inmates and their families Recovery: Tribby Watkins / Richard HoltTo provide spiritual and emotional support to any individual seeking to teardown, overcome and recover from the affects of life controlling strongholds NNRP: LaTonya BellRecreational and Computer Project for children and adults. Sponsors 2nd Saturday Rec and Tec Academy . Nursing Home: Evang. Roberta PriceTo provide christian services, programs, and blessings for the residents Reach-Another-Neighbor(RAN): Vivian StreetTo provide words of prayer and personal contact to the Genesis neighborhood through prayer walks. Niels ChapmanTo provide training and offer opportunities to collaborate with other churches for outreach Adopt-A-School: Essie HaynesThe adopt-A-school program provides leadership to other ministries as they adopt a school within the community. These ministries provides services such as: tutoring, listeners, readers, lunch buddies, proctoring, and other services as requested. They also provide such resources as book, lunches, breakfasts and other treats for the faculty and staff. The following schools have been adopted: Erwin Montessori School with Deborah Parker, Bessemer Elementary with Dr. Carolyn Haley, Falkener with Dr. Amy Holcombe, and Hairston with Dr. Teresa Daye.
