Genesis Leadership brainstorming session will be held Saturday, March 6, 8:00-10:00. all leaders are asked to be present.

Saturday Heritage Academy has space for two additonal students. Contact the Church office for more information.

The Golden Gems will hold their birthday celebration for January, February and March on March 10th. at Golden Corral on Lawndale. Please wear yor Golden Gems T-Shirts. The van will leave at 1:15pm.  Contact is Mary Lee.

 

NCCJ INTERFAITH TOUR - Since we did not have any students sign up for the tour on Sunday we have released our seats to other churches and groups on their waiting list.  Hopefully we'll have more students interested in participating next year.  

NCCJ ANYTOWN APPLICATIONS - If will be a rising Jr. or Sr. in high school for the 2010-2011 academic year and would like to participate in one of the most amazing human relations and leadership development programs for youth in the Triad please consider applying for Anytown.  Several of our adults and youth have attended and all have come back with rave reviews of how powerful an experience it is.  I've attached an application below for you to review and fill out. 

  THE TAKEOVER - We are gearing up for one of the most amazing collaborative efforts of youth ministries in the Triad area.  Several of our students have already registered, but there is still space available.  This retreat is now scheduled for March 27-29 where we'll be taking 60-75 students from 7 churches all over the Triad for a time of teaching, worship, fun and fellowship.  Registration is $80 and includes tranportation, food, lodging and activities, however we don't want to turn any students away because of finances.  If you or your family is interested please contact our YP as soon as possible. However, if you'd like to sponsor a child by paying some or all of the registration costs we'd welcome your gift as well.  All registration forms and payments should be given to our YP no later than March 7.  Space is limited so please reach out to our YP as soon as possible.   Have an amazing week!

Please notice that this month our Youth Sunday service has been moved from 4th Sunday to the 3rd Sunday.  The reason being two fold, 1) The 4th Sunday is Palm Sunday and is our Church Anniversary as well as 2)  This is the weekend some of us will be away for "The Takeover," therefore it was agreed that we'd move Youth Sunday up one week.  That also means we'll only have Youth Church one Sunday (March 14).  Everyone will worship together on the 4th Sunday (March 29) in the larger sanctuary. 

Monica and Michelle, if you'll make sure the Jr. Ushers and Praise Team are ready for these days that would be awesome.  Many thanks to everyone for helping us to be prepared to serve.
